GP Registrars
Park Avenue is an accredited GP training practice for registrars.
A GP Registrar is a fully qualified medical doctor who is undergoing further training to become a specialist GP. We, at Park Avenue support the training of registrars, to eventually become GPs of the future.
Registrars consult patients on their own, under the mentorship of our a GP trainer. Occasionally we ask permission to video or record a consultation. You will always be asked in advance of any recording and are given the option not to take part, and this will not affect your care in any way. These videos are used only for educational and training purposes.
Trainee ANP’s
As a practice we also support the training of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, who work under supervision of a GP or ANP; Practice as a trainee ANP using collaborative and independent judgment to assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement, manage, and evaluate care for patients. The level of supervision will be dependent on the stage of training.
