Practice Update

Welcome to our new  website

If you have any issues accessing the information you require, please get in touch.

Vitamin B12 Injections

B12 injections are now administered by the treatment room nurses (which is based in the same building as us). To arrange an appointment please call 01786 468251. On arrival please check in at the reception desk down from ours, on the same side, first glass window. Before attending your appointment, please ensure your B12 injections are in date and are in the original container with your details on the pharmacy label.

Unless advised to do so by a GP or nurse, please DO NOT attend the practice.

If you need to speak to a GP, Nurse or receptionist, please call us on 01786 473529.

If a GP or Nurse has requested you attend, please attend the practice via the rear (carpark) entrance. A volunteer will meet you at the entrance and entry will only be gained once you have been screened.

COVID Vaccination Passports or status certificates

Please DO NOT contact the surgery to ask for COVID vaccination passports or status certificates as we are not able to provide any standard document. International certification standards have not yet been agreed.

The Scottish government is working to support the re-opening of international travel once its safe to do so.  It is also working with other UK nations and with the World Health Organisation to agree on potential future COVID certification requirements for international travel. As part of this , they are developing a technical solution that could allow people to access their COVID vaccination status directly.

Changes to prescription ordering

We will no longer deal with prescriptions at reception. This includes ordering prescriptions and collecting prescriptions. Instead we advise you to order in one of the following ways:

  • Online – Please email us with your name and date of birth to [email protected] to register for our online prescription service. (An order can be placed at any time of the day, we will receive and process your order within two working days)
  • Pharmacy – ask your local pharmacy of your choice to order your prescription on your behalf. The majority of pharmacy drivers collect from us on a daily basis.
  • Telephone – Please note you can order prescriptions by telephone Monday- Friday 8.30-10.30am & 2pm- 5.30pm. Our phones lines are at their busiest on a Monday (or Tuesday following a Bank Holiday) We would suggest you avoid ordering on this day, where possible, as you may struggle to get through to us.

If you collect your prescriptions from the surgery, you will now be asked which pharmacy you wish it to be sent to.

We are no longer allowing patients to collect prescriptions from the surgery.
